This US postal employee seemed to be enjoying the good life while she was collecting workers compensation benefits at her employer’s (the Federal Government) expense. This story/link describes all the fun physical activities she enjoyed while supposedly hurt, and how this abuse went on for years at Uncle Sam’s expense.
The good thing about this story is that through the vigilance of a workers compensation insurance investigator, this employee was identified and the fraud was finally stopped– but seemingly after quite a few years. This type of investigation should be happening by all workers compensation insurance companies in order to keep your rates low.
